Growing projects

Fs1 are really excited to be involved with two projects, the first is with Grow Your Own Potatoes. Earlier this week we prepared the seed potatoes and placed them on the tray to ‘chit’ them. The countdown is on until planting day, we need to wait 14 days before this can happen. During “Talk Time” we decided if they grow well and we have a good crop, we will have a potato picnic!!

We were really excited to receive our box of goodies from Innocent and Grow It Yourself. Yesterday the children planted some peas, spinach and cress. We look forward to eating these too.
